Flooding Coronavirus Hoax Google Search Results With Confusion?

An odd report emerged in August that unsurprisingly received a fair amount of coverage, including from The Washington Post: Las Vegas Raiders Coach Jon Gruden tricked his players into thinking he had contracted the novel coronavirus.

According to NFL Network at the time, Gruden pulled the stunt because he wanted to jolt his players into being more mindful of the potential dangers of the virus and the possibility that anyone could catch it at any point.

The story took another twist Monday night after the Raiders defeated the New Orleans Saints, when Gruden revealed that he really did catch it. Asked about that on Tuesday, the 57-year-old coach said reports that he pulled a hoax “really ticked me off.”

The subject came up after Gruden was shown on “Monday Night Football”wearing his face mask down around his chin instead of over his mouth and nose. Earlier on Monday, the NFL levied $100,000 fines on three other head coaches — the Seattle Seahawks’ Pete Carroll, the San Francisco 49ers’ Kyle Shanahan and the Denver Broncos’ Vic Fangio — plus their respective teams were docked $250,000 each for violating league directives regarding mask-wearing on the sidelines.

“I’ve had the virus, okay? I’m doing my best,” Gruden said during a postgame Zoom session with reporters (via the Bay Area News Group). “I’m very sensitive about it, but I’m calling plays. I just want to communicate these situations."

Gruden subsequently confirmed that he contracted the virus in mid-July, shortly before the Raiders began their training camp. He added via text message: “I’m tired of [people] saying I faked it.”

On Tuesday, during another media session, Gruden said he didn’t “want to get into it,” but offered some more details.

“It wasn’t pleasant,” he said. “And it was reported that I made up that I had the virus, and it really ticked me off because I would never do something like that. But it’s a very serious matter and, you know, obviously, I’m sensitive about it.

“But yeah, it was a tough ordeal, that’s for sure. Just like everybody else that’s had it.”

Jon Gruden says he did have coronavirus, is ‘ticked’ at reports he pulled hoax on Raiders | Washington Post

Looks like a typical job by the media to put out stories about a hoax and say it turned out not to be true. You see this with twitter celebrity death hoaxes where fake twitter accounts probably run by intelligence organizations say a certain celebrity is dead and then it turns out the person is still alive though it becomes a story that shows up in Google. So when you search if a celebrity faked their death, you get that time said celebrity had a twitter death hoax. It's misdirection just like the above story.

Raiders Football coach Jon Gruden tricked his players into thinking he had Coronavirus and now he says it was real. When people search Coronavirus Hoax a story like this will come up and not websites exposing the lie that is the fake Coronavirus. The link is in the article of Gruden lying about having Coronavirus and then taking back that he lied. I mean come on, how can anyone not question why a professional football coach would fake Coronavirus knowing how bad this Psyop is. He could get fired with all the serious restrictions that are being mandated by the NFL. This is clearly scripted with the NFL going back to August when Gruden started the lie.
