Gene Youngblood has been talked about along with his book Expanded Cinema on many of the John Adams Afternoon Commutes. I wonder if he would've come on an Afternoon Commute since he seems available for talks like this one. This guy is still going in his late 70s with good critical analysis of reality and how his book Expanded Cinema applies today, 50 years later. In the beginning he reflects on how he forgot who Neil Postman author of Amusing Ourselves To Death was and shows off some good books which talk about questioning the reality in which we live.
