DARPA Release Matrix-Style System To ‘Upload Skills’ To Your Brain

In the first Matrix movie, Neo is seen linking up to a virtual reality computer system that rapidly uploads complex skills and training programs into his brain.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) say that this once fictional method of learning and acquiring skills may now be a reality with the announcement of their Targeted Neuroplasticity Training (TNT) program.

Futurism.com reports: The TNT program aims to explore various safe neurostimulation methods for activating synaptic plasticity, which is the brain’s ability to alter the connecting points between neurons — a requirement for learning. DARPA hopes that building up that ability by subjecting the nervous system to a kind of workout regimen will enable the brain to learn more quickly.
